A young Star Finch enjoys the sunshine. The Star Finch is a grassfinch which inhabits a decreasing range in dry savannah and dry grasslands in northwestern Australia. They are popular aviary birds and several color mutations have been produced.
About Margaret Saheed
While photography has always been a passion, my painting adventure began after visiting a wildlife art exhibition in Melbourne, Australia. Exploring ways to create colorful contemporary images featuring animals, flowers and other elements of nature was a new venture for me. Now I am studying the exciting creation of digital paintings. Having graduated from Melbourne University with a BA(Hons) specialising in international relations, I am interested in portraying the world's exotic species.
